Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:
- Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
- Please use a neutral point of view when editing articles; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as: copyrighted text, advertisement messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Adding such unreasonable information or otherwise editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism, and will result in your account being blocked.
The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! A tag has been placed on Xrsolutions, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.
If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}}
on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Calton | Talk 14:06, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
Creating new articles
[edit]The best way to create a new article is to create it under your user space. For example at User:Allenj3304/Sandbox. You can create your article there and then once you're done ask for feedback from other editors on how to make it better. Once you've gotten it the way you want it, you can move it into the main article space. Creating it in your user space will prevent it from being deleted immediately. Leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions. Ioeth (talk contribs friendly) 22:38, 28 November 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for the tip. Once an article is deleted, how do I get the the text back to edit or move to my sandbox? Allenj3304 (talk) 22:51, 28 November 2007 (UTC)
- Hi Allenk3304. The old article text has been restored to your sandox User:Allenj3304/Sandbox. You can now work on the article. Remember you need to establish why the company is notable enough to be in an encyclopedia, and you need to provide verifiable information that is cited through reliable sources. Try to make sure you doin't have any Original Research. The article reads a bit like an advert at the moment - remember we need to strive for a Neutral Point of View. Use any of these blue links for help. Feel free to contact me to review the article. Best Wishes. Pedro : Chat 15:29, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
