Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Alluarjun500, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits to the page Surya did not conform to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may have been removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations verified in reliable, reputable print or online sources or in other reliable media. Always provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to The Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Jaya. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. — DaxServer (talk · contribs) 08:57, 3 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.DaxServer (talk · contribs) 08:58, 3 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@DaxServer Hi DaxServer, but why my edits are reverted? I was just adding some correct basic information in the article. I was just adding some famous people's name in the article whose name is Jaya.

Hi. The names belong in Jaya (given name), while others are simply unsourced. — DaxServer (talk · contribs) 12:17, 3 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@DaxServer Oh okay got it. I should add some more names on that page Jaya (given name)

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced or poorly sourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Jaya (given name). This is your final warningDaxServer (talk · contribs) 13:27, 3 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi Alluarjun500! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Jaya that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you.
