Editing at Tuscany

[edit]

Your edits at Tuscany have been reverted because they are either unsourced or poorly sourced. Specifically:

  1. You have changed the GDP and unemployment rate to reflect 2020 figures, but the cited sources are for 2018 figures. If you can provide updated sources, great, but don't change the data without updating the source.
  2. You have provided a great deal of information about Tuscan viticulture without providing any sources. There is already an article about Tuscan wine; a link to that well-sourced page should suffice here.
  3. You have changed information about mining in Tuscany without providing a source.
  4. You have added information about manufacturing in Tuscany, referencing the specific manufacturing company's websites rather than reliable secondary sources.

Please don't reintroduce these changes without at least discussing the matter first. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 20:28, 19 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Citation

[edit]

Now I am adding citation/sources and you destroy it with your reverts.

  1. Uneployment statistics has same source Eurostat Nuts region 2
OK. I can't access that source (the cited website says the data is no longer available) so I can't verify your claim.
  2. For GDP I only add Bold font
There is no need to place the GDP in bold font. The manual of style discourages this use of bold fonts.
  3. In Tuscan Wine described wines but not cultivated area and production volume, source is German Wiki
We can't use Wikipedia (either English or other languages) as a source (WP:CIRCULAR). If the German Wikipedia article has sources, use those. But again, there is already a full article on Tuscan wine; a simple link to that article would suffice and avoid the need to maintain the information in two places.
  4. No, I get article from some newspaper. But if I need company locations how can I get it not from company site?
You can get the company location from a the company itself, but the claim that any company is a significant example of a particular industry in Tuscany needs to be sourced independently.

I have replied to your questions individually above. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 20:41, 19 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It very nice that you make change so selective:

Where is any citation/sources for "Renaissance", "Modern era", "Art Schools", "Language" , "Music"? Why this article are not rollbacked?

Where is source for that "The industrial sector is dominated by mining, given the abundance of underground resources". When most mining abonded many years ago? Why old variant are better?

In Tuscan Wine article information about whole cultivated area and production volume? (@WikiDan61:)
