Old Scottish Rite Hospital[edit]

Just below the edit box there is a line of text that says "Content that violates any copyright will be deleted." You are free to create an article on the hopital, but not by copying text directly from an outside website. CMummert · talk 11:34, 13 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I see that you have started writing a new version of the article (it's on my watchlist somehow). Please make sure that you establish that the hospital is notable; one way to do this is to give some references to times that the hospital has been covered by local media. You will not be able to use the image from their website - they have copyright over it, so we can't publish it here without their explicit permission. You could take a photo yourself and upload that. CMummert · talk 16:15, 14 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:Eastwingoldscottishrite.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Eastwingoldscottishrite.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 21:08, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
