A tag has been placed on your user page, User:Nationwide Middle East Properties, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be blatant advertising which only promotes or publicises a company, product, group or service, and which is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages; user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.

If you can indicate why the page is not blatant advertising, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: Click here to contest this speedy deletion which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy deletion candidate). Doing so will take you to your user talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also edit this page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would help make it encyclopedic. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Joseph2302 (talk) 11:33, 22 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose.

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice. Thank you. -- Ed (Edgar181) 12:10, 22 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I wasn't aware of the guideline for allowable to create usernames on company. I would like to change the username on my name and will amend the description accordingly to make a profile based on an individual entity. Please review my appeal and unblock my account at your earliest. Nationwide Middle East Properties (talk) 12:47, 22 March 2015 (UTC)

Accept reason:

Allowing username change to requested username. Please put this request in at Wikipedia:Changing username as soon as possible to avoid re-blocking. PhilKnight (talk) 11:29, 23 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

A note[edit]

Please be aware that advertising and/or promotion are not allowed anywhere on Wikipedia - see WP:SPAM. If this name change request is accepted, you will still not be allowed to post promotional material such as was on your user page. Peridon (talk) 17:31, 22 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I have just looked at the company site, and it looks to me as if all or some of the text you used came straight from there. Please note that copyright material is not allowed to be brought into Wikipedia unless it is licensed to us by the owner of the copyright. This is because Wikipedia is licensed under CC-BY-SA 3.0 and the GFDL for free reuse by anyone anywhere. Copyright text is not compatible with this. (In the case of text from company sites, it's usually too promotional to be acceptable anyway...) Peridon (talk) 17:38, 22 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
