Amit, your edits to Kolkata have broken the links to several other articles, and appear to have removed some information (such as that about the National Park to the South of the city). That was why I reverted your changes previously. I'm going to revert again. Please discuss on the article's talk page. Please try and add any relevant info, without removing things that already exist, unless there is a consensus for the removal once you have removed it. On Kolkata, Can you explain why you removed the following line without providing a edit summary? "The Sundarbans National Park separates the city from the Bay of Bengal, which is located about 154 km to the south." - Ganeshk (talk) 13:39, 27 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

On Kolkata, Your edits are breaking a wiki links. Please do not change Writers' building to Writers' Buildings. - Ganeshk (talk) 13:43, 27 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

As GaneshK says, and in addition I beleive your removal of the links to Sundarbans National Park puts you in violation of WP:3RR David Underdown 13:45, 27 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Kolkata is a featured article. Changes to featured articles must be first discussed on the article's talk page and applied after consensus is reached. Since you removed the text without explaining why (WP:ES), I had to revert your change. Please discuss on the talk page. Hope that explains. Let me know if you have any questions.
