Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Electronic cigarette. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, pictures of advertising, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. DivaNtrainin (talk) 00:56, 21 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add inappropriate external links or advertising pictures, as you did with this edit to Electronic cigarette. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. DivaNtrainin (talk) 03:26, 21 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

May 2010[edit]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Electronic_cigarette, you may be blocked from editing. You're repeatedly restoring images to the article. The images have been discussed on the talk page for the article. If you strongly feel that the images add to the article in some way, please state your case on the article discussion page. This is the final warning you will receive regarding your disruptive edits. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at Electronic cigarette, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Favonian (talk) 22:36, 25 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

In response to your post on my talk page where you accuse me of removing all your edits from the electronic cigarettepage, I am not the only editor reversing your edits. Your most recent contribution was reversed by another editor. The reason that I and other people are reversing your edits is because they don't meet Wikipedia's content policies. Your posting of advertising violates Wikipedia's policy on advertising and spamming. Your most recent edits relates to statements that the nicotine in electronic cigarettes are non-addictive. When I looked at your reference, I couldn't find where on the website these statements were supported or explained. If these statements are supported, please change the link and justify your edits on the talk page so that other editors can provide feedback to your edits.

In addition, you should review Wikipedia's policy on Civility. Your comments to me are borderline-harrassment. You accuse me of working for a rival electronic cigarette company and of being biased. Those are untrue. If your unjustified edits continue to be made and your negative comments continue to be made, you will be blocked as per Wikipedia's blocking policy.DivaNtrainin (talk) 23:05, 25 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because it appears to be mainly intended or used for publicity and/or promotional purposes. Please read the following carefully.

Why can't I edit Wikipedia?

Your account's edits and/or username indicate that it is being used on behalf of a company, group, or organization for purposes of promotion and/or publicity. The edits may have violated one or more of our rules on spamming, which include: adding inappropriate external links, posting advertisements, and using Wikipedia for promotion. Wikipedia has many articles on companies, groups, and organizations, but it is considered inappropriate for such groups to use Wikipedia to write about themselves. In addition, usernames like yours are disallowed under our username policy.

Am I allowed to make these edits if I change my username?

Probably not. See Wikipedia:FAQ/Organization for a helpful list of frequently asked questions by people in your position. Also, review the conflict of interest guidance to see the kinds of limitations you would have to obey if you did want to continue editing about your company, group, or organization. If this does not fit in with your goals, then you will not be allowed to edit again. Consider using one of the many websites that allow this instead.

What can I do now?

You are still welcome to write about something other than your company or organization. If you do intend to make useful contributions on some other topic, you must convince a Wikipedia administrator that you mean it. To that end, please do the following:

  • Add the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} below this message box.
  • Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:Listusers to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy.
  • Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, please see how to appeal a block.

A friendly note[edit]

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. You seem to be off to a bad start and are in violation of a number of Wikipedia policies including editing with conflict of interest, apparently using Wikipedia to promote your company or product, engaging in edit warring, violation of the three revert rule, not maintaining civility in your interaction with other users, and continuing these disruptive activities after being warned. These are the reasons that editing privileges for your account have been suspended.

However, I notice that your talk page edits you have questioned the neutrality of the Electronic cigarette article. If you wish to address these issues on the article's talk page and agree to stop editing the article directly, you may request that editing privileges be restored using the procedure outlined above. Please note that your best chance of have a constructive influence on the article (or elsewhere on Wikipedia) is to work with the other editors and not against. Recognize that they may or may not agree with your position. If you do not follow these guidelines, you will likely be blocked again and will accomplish little. If you choose to work with the other editors, I wish you luck in you efforts to improve the article. Thank you. -- Tom N (tcncv) talk/contrib 01:17, 26 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
