Yet another subpage[edit]

Welcome! Thanks for your interest.

See also User talk:Andrewa/New York New York New York New York and User talk:Andrewa/New York post RM 2016... but read this page first.

The difference is, those two user talk pages and their associated user pages were created and still are fundamentally to help me to get my thoughts in order.

This talk page and its associated page is to help anyone interested to get up to speed.

Comments welcome! Of course. Andrewa (talk) 20:33, 11 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Data collected[edit]

I think the data is all there now, but the descriptions might be expanded a little, and some alternate indexes created... a list of the actual RMs and the results, for example.

If I've missed anything please add it! Or discuss here. Andrewa (talk) 04:53, 16 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

a place to send things[edit]

This talk page might also be a useful place to send discussions that may otherwise clutter and even disrupt (however unintentionally) the next RM.

If you have a detailed reply (hopefully not a complete rant but something longish and/or at a deep level of indentation) you might consider posting just a summary of your argument at the RM and wikilinking to a new section here for the details. That's what I intend to do. But probably better to keep them in one subpage rather than everyone create their own.

See http://forum.ship-of-fools.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=forum;f=3 for their approach to this. But this is not hell. The normal talk page guidelines and other behavioural guidelines all apply.

And if and when this page and this talk page are moved to the project namespace, we'll leave redirects here and any wikilinks to sections will all still work (try it, it's neat) as should permalinks and diffs.

This may possibly be a better approach than User talk:Andrewa/NYRM 2017. Still getting thoughts together on that. Andrewa (talk) 17:54, 25 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
