Robert Artus

[edit]

This is Robert Artus, a talented singer-songwriter hailing from Rochdale. Despite not having achieved massive success in his music career yet, Robert is a true artist at heart, pouring his heart and soul into every song he creates.

With a passion for music that began at a young age, Robert honed his craft by playing in local pubs and clubs around Manchester. His intimate and heartfelt performances quickly gained him a small following of dedicated fans who were drawn to his authentic and relatable lyrics.

In 2022, Robert released his debut Album, "Better With You", which was met with terrible reviews from friends and family alike. The Album showcased Robert's unique blend of indie rock and pop, featuring catchy hooks and poignant lyrics that captured the ups and downs of life in Greater Manchester. Although the album was a flop due to awful marketing strategies and sub-par production quality this still gained Robert a small amount of dedicated fans.

Since then, Robert has continued to write and record new music, with his latest single "Reflections" gaining some great reviews on social media. His music has been praised for its honesty and vulnerability, with listeners connecting deeply to the emotional themes of his songs.

Despite not having achieved massive commercial success, Robert remains dedicated to his craft, pouring his heart and soul into every song he creates. With his unique voice and heartfelt lyrics, he is sure to win over even more fans in the years to come.

”I’ve always loved music and have always felt like it’s some sort of destiny thing” the musician explained in an interview his friend did. The passion he has is so strong that he happily performs in the street, he writes about past traumas, relationships and sometimes political statements.

His nickname that fans have given to him is “Rockstar Rob” due to his song ‘Rockstar’ becoming so popular.

Early Life

In his early life Robert found a passion for music at the age of 4 years old, he started playing guitar at 8 years of age. He had a tough upbringing being in care from the age of 4 until he was 16, he often struggled fitting in in groups and was quite a loner often spending lunch breaks on his own or getting in fights.

Past Relationships

As of writing Robert has been in 8 relationships although was never truly head over heels until he met a girl in 2022, although that didn’t last long, she had a huge impact on his life, he’s written plenty of his songs since about her and has said when asked about her “she’s doing her own thing now, I don’t even know her anymore”

Current Relationship

Robert is currently single and doesn’t seem to have any intentions on getting into a relationship any time soon. The 20 year old has been single for a year and has said “I’ve been working on myself, if someone special comes along the world won’t know” so it’s possible he’s in a relationship we wouldn’t know.
