I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using three tildes, like this: ~~~. Four tildes (~~~~) produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! --└ Smith120bh/TALK┐ 05:36, 3 January 2006 (UTC)
Please, when naming articles, use just the name of the person, without any common titles (like "Ms." or "Dr."), and with the first letter of each part of the name capitalized. I changed your two other articles to redirects to a properly-named page. Thank you! --└ Smith120bh/TALK┐ 05:36, 3 January 2006 (UTC)
- Also, It is recommended that you use the preview button before you save; this helps you find any errors you have made, and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history.. Thanks! --└ Smith120bh/TALK┐ 05:42, 3 January 2006 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of CorporateGrapevine
[edit]A tag has been placed on CorporateGrapevine, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. [edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Gossip do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. CalendarWatcher (talk) 12:06, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, please do not add promotional material to articles or other Wikipedia pages, as you did to Mergers and acquisitions. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" is strongly discouraged. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. CalendarWatcher (talk) 12:08, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Gossip, you will be blocked from editing. CalendarWatcher (talk) 12:18, 22 May 2009 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of CorporateGrapevine
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article CorporateGrapevine, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:
All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Orphaned non-free media (File:CorporateGrapevine Logo.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:CorporateGrapevine Logo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:43, 30 May 2009 (UTC)
Star signs
[edit]Please do not add birthday and star sign categories to articles. I've reverted them. The category will be deleted. It is entirely inappropriate.♦ Dr. Blofeld 13:05, 10 October 2011 (UTC)
