Hypocrite

Okay, I’ll go and remove any reference to nationality on all American national team players who weren’t born in America then. Lol. 217.137.43.101 (talk) 17:34, 27 August 2021 (UTC)

According to standard practice, that's fine, as long as they were born in a nation other than the United States but represent the United States at international level. I have absolutely no idea why you're taking this so personally. Anwegmann (talk) 18:51, 27 August 2021 (UTC)

Hello, thanks for your concern, but maiden call up is not an 'inappropriate' usage. It is used in several wiki articles as well. Also please, try to add sources when you add something to an article in future. I've noticed you didn't do that with Mark Pabai (regarding rejecting the call up). If I've made mistakes with the word "the", I will try to do better in future. I just found it awkward when the word "the" repeats often. It must a mistake from my side, as I am a Non-English speaker. Anyway, thanks for bringing this to my notice. Kokoeist (talk) 18:45, 6 October 2021 (UTC)

No problem. I appreciate the message and the acknowledgment. "Maiden" is, for the record, a very strange and awkward way to phrase a first call-up. Unfortunately, WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS, which doesn't mean that if it appears somewhere it is correct. I appreciate your help. Anwegmann (talk) 19:26, 6 October 2021 (UTC)

Thanks for letting me know that. I'll keep that in mind when I edit next time. Happy editing! Kokoeist (talk) 19:41, 6 October 2021 (UTC)

The article needs expanding to cover his career before moving to Europe. Who are Kafue Celtic? There is no mention of his loan to Power Dynamos. The French and German Wikipedia’s refer to an early career with Nchanga Rangers and Green Buffaloes before joining Kafue Celtic, neither of which are mentioned here. @Daemonickangaroo2018: I have no idea what Kafue Celtic is. Are you expecting me to know for some reason? There should not be a consciously empty section in an article. Period. An "Early career" section is not a required element in an article. So if there is nothing that covers his early career, there shouldn't be an empty "Early career" section. If you want to add cited information about his early career, thus necessitating an "Early career" section, go ahead. I don't know why you are telling me any of this. If you don't want to fill in the "Early career" section yourself, add a note to the top of the article asserting that the article needs to be expanded. Anwegmann (talk) 20:50, 20 October 2021 (UTC)

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Charles D. B. King, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Krio.
