My friends page was deleted, can she get the code back for it and change the error in the page so that she can repost it.

{{helpme}} I left you a message on your mytalk I hope you got it.

Thanks :)

  • I asked the admin who deleted the page if they could provide a copy in your userspace. Also, the "leave me a message" thing was just a little bit of code that allows any user to easily make a new message if they don't know about the little tab at the top with a + on it (I didn't know about this tab until a few months ago myself, and I've been here three years!). As for Matthew, you might want to read the notability guidelines; do you have any reliable sources (WP:RS) to verify any of the information? {{helpme}} She gave me a few links as reference, the uschess ones are the US chess federation, which is the main chess organization in America, and Fide is the World Wide Chess Rating System. Is that enough?

Thanks so much! http://rashidchess.com/MASTERS.htm http://main.uschess.org/content/view/7727/319/ http://main.uschess.org/content/view/6270/325/ http://ratings.fide.com/card.phtml?event=2029006

  • No. The first is only a directory, and the others are about the tournament itself with only a trivial mention of that person if at all. You would need several articles that are largely or entirely dedicated to the person himself. Userification on demand[edit]

The page you wanted restored to work upon can now be found at User:Apples0002/Matthew Fouts. Cheers Lectonar (talk) 08:48, 23 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you want, I can list it at miscellany for deletion. It seems to be a target for vandalism. Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • (Many ottersOne batOne hammer) 23:48, 24 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
