A tag has been placed on Hurtwood House, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. May 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from Hurtwood House. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Don't remove the {{advert}} and {{unreferenced}} tags until the issues are resolved. tedder (talk) 01:07, 26 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hurtwood House[edit]

Hi, Argentinamilitary. Thanks for creating Hurtwood House, and for trying to improve it. However, you need to follow some of Wikipedia's rules and guidelines.

First, don't remove maintenance templates without reason. Specifically, the {{unreferenced}} tag. There are currently zero references in the article, and it should have quite a few- for instance, proof that the listed alumni actually attended the school.

Secondly, I've removed the non-notable alumni. They are semi-notable, but they don't have wikipedia entries. Notability is not inherited; until there's an entry on Sarah Zeid and Camilla Al Fayed, they aren't generally considered notable.

Please use this talk page and Talk:Hurtwood House to discuss additions and removals, rather than starting an edit war by removing maintenance templates and continuing to add/revert the same content. Failure to do so may result in being blocked. tedder (talk) 01:56, 26 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article Morgan delle Piane has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:BIO. Non notable artist/socialite. Most of the article is pure puff, about hisfamily: the minor part about himself doesn't indicate any notability. No Google news (archive) hits, or Gogle books: very few regular Google hits (only 23 distinct hits outside of Wikipedia), none of them indicative of any notability as a socialite or artist.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Fram (talk) 11:44, 4 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Morgan delle Piane[edit]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Morgan delle Piane. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Morgan delle Piane (2nd nomination). Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:08, 6 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
