Welcome![edit]

Hello, Atenkiang, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Adam and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Copyright issues[edit]

Hi Atenkiang. This edit of yours has been identified as problematic. Copying text directly from a source is a copyright violation, even if you cite the source (in this case, the phrasing "This happens because, according to Mbembe". Changing should fix the problem since the rest of the passage is a direct quote. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 00:06, 6 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Your additions to the Félix-Roland Moumié article include passages copied verbatim or nearly verbatim from a non-free source. This was detected by automatic plagiarism detection software. Unfortunately, for copyright reasons, your entire contribution has to be deleted. This is a very serious problem since this is the second time you have done this. Please review the Plagiarism and Copyright training module carefully before proceeding further. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 14:33, 30 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
