Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, BLP1988, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Elysia and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Copying licensed material requires attribution

[edit]

Hi. I see in a recent addition to Worldwide Incidents Tracking System you included material from a webpage that is available under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported license.. That's okay, but you have to give attribution so that our readers are made aware that you copied the prose rather than wrote it yourself. I've added the attribution for this particular instance. Please make sure that you follow this licensing requirement when copying from compatibly-licensed material in the future. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 13:40, 9 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
