Hi,

I'm editing this for some time, but all my edits are being deleted. I can't understand the reason. Can the users who edit it discuss with me please? thanks.

Sorry.  :-))

It's Tripolis, Greece article.

Voynich

[edit]

Hi Badseed,

Voynich was Russian by birth, so I think the spelling "ch" was the english transliteration, ie it should be pronounced "Voynicz". The Russian Wikipedia also spells him with a "cz"-sound at the end. Hope that helps!

Ευχαριστώ!

[edit]

Σε ευχαριστώ πολύ για την πλήρη ενημέρωση! Ήταν, όντως, πολύ χρήσιμα τα όσα μου έγραψες!--Yannismarou 08:45, 29 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Paoklogo.svg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Paoklogo.svg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. BigrTex 18:37, 30 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Looks great. Thanks for taking care of that. ~ BigrTex 15:41, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yep, my mistake

[edit]

I'd written down 15:29 and typed the start of ignition instead, go figure, lol. Thanks for catching that for me! (End time was 15:28:55 which is why I wrote down 15:29, technically, but for the purposes of the article I guess it doesn't matter, but if you want to change it to 15:29 feel free.) ArielGold 16:02, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah I typed the start time, :25, but wrote down on my notepad the end time, I just goofed and typed it wrong, lol. Landing will be fine, no worries! ArielGold 16:16, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Woo hoo! I swear, if I could slap the media who have no clue how NASA works, and blow everything out of proportion, I would, lol. Truly they made this entire tile damage issue so much worse than it was, every day documents came out of the MMT, and from the start, they all were never worried about vehicle loss, they were concerned about vehicle processing following landing. But nooooo the silly dramatists in the media have to go and blow it into this huge thing. SHEESH! lol. Well they're home safe and sound, and now I must sit and wait a whole TWO more months for the next mission. ACK! Withdrawl, lol. ArielGold 16:44, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use disputed for Image:Aske.svg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Aske.svg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:38, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:Paoklogo.svg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Paoklogo.svg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 15:44, 26 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. When you recently edited Virú culture, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Mace (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Permission to use an image

[edit]

Hi Badseed, I would like to use an image of Wangfujing street found at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Wangfujing_street,_Beijing.JPG in a brazilian TV serie entitled "Critical Uncertainties". I noticed you only uploaded the image, but maybe you have an email or other contact of the image's owner? Thanks, Teka. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Teka.carbonell (talkcontribs) 19:42, 6 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Teka.carbonell, note that the image is free for reuse, as it is licensed with a CC Attribution-Sharealiki license (although i guess you know this and perhaps you want a higher resolution version). The original uploader is User:Nggsc. I do not know anything more about him and, as far as I can see, he hasn't got an email to his account. I left a message on his page, however he hasn't contributed since 2008, so don't be surprised if he doesn't answer. Still, let's hope he does. Kind regards, Badseed (talk) 01:02, 14 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
