Disambiguation link notification for July 6[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Fito & Fitipaldis, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Pop (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Proposed deletion of O'funk'illo[edit]

Ambox warning yellow.svg

The article O'funk'illo has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails to meet WP:Notability (music)

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Deletion discussion about Ñu[edit]

Hello, Batamamma,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Ñu should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ñu .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks, Karlhard (talk) 19:06, 3 October 2014 (UTC)

Latin music article suggestions[edit]

Hey Batammama! Right now the Latin music project is taking suggestions for what articles should be created and expanded right here. So feel free to add anything like essential Spanish artists or other rock en español musicians. Erick (talk) 18:03, 24 May 2015 (UTC)

Just heads up, the Latin music project now has a Importance scale including a specific importance scale that you can use to determine the importance of an artist or recording. Cheers! Erick (talk) 20:50, 30 May 2015 (UTC)

ArbCom elections are now open![edit]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. • Further comment I declined your speedy deletion request on the above file, as I don't think speedy deletion is appropriate in this situation and also I think the sound file is worth keeping. I have listed it at WP:Files for discussion. If the quality of the file needs to be reduced to meet Wikipedia's fair use standards, there are experienced editors in the file area that can do so. In any event, discussion is most appropriate here, rather than speedy deletion. Safiel (talk) 20:41, 3 February 2016 (UTC)

Possible useful sources for Spanish music?[edit]

Hello Batamamma! I compiled a list useful resources for new members to use for the Latin music project. I was wondering if you know sources that could useful for music from Spain. I've already added PROMUSICAE on the charts and certifications area. But I do not know of any other sources that could help users with Spanish music, especially Spanish rock music information. If you know of any sources (can be anything such as online reviews or general information), could you add them to the resources page? Thanks! Erick (talk) 20:53, 25 February 2016 (UTC)
