Removed speedy deletion tag: Bromosexual

[edit]

Hi Beach drifter! I just wanted to inform you that I removed the speedy deletion tag you placed on Bromosexual- because: the page is not nonsense - there is meaningful content, even if it's made up or/and not true If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact me. Kingpin13 (talk) 07:30, 29 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, although that doesn't mean that it meets G1 (g1 isn't for things which aren't true, use G3 for that). Also, even if it is a "hoax", it's not blatantly obvious, so G3 isn't suitable. You may also want to read Wikipedia:CSD#Non-criteria, which this article meets, hence the prod. Remember, when in doubt, go for AfD or PROD, not CSD :). Thanks for your work, keep it up - Kingpin13 (talk) 19:46, 29 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Jasen Walker

[edit]

Hi Beach Drifter:

I just wanted to let you know that I've put a vote and a comment on the AfD page for Jasen Walker. While I agree with some of the points, I think that a week is not enough time to allow good clean-up, especially since the main author hasn't edited anything since the article was tagged. Just wanted to let you know where I stand on it. Frmatt (talk) 06:31, 7 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Pill Box, Contatiner, what not

[edit]

Hello. The orginal pill box page was a disambig page that gave a good definitions to all uses of the term. No offense but I think you are making a mess of what was a good balance organization of articles. Beach drifter (talk) 00:39, 15 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I am still trying to figure out which works best. Currently, I am in the process of writing an article on pill boxes as pictured in the new article. I am also confused as I am looking through sources, there may be multiple meanings for the term "pillbox" referring to medication. Tatterfly (talk) 00:42, 15 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I think most people would agree that when typing pillbox or pill box into the search window it needs to go to the disambig page, not to pill container. Beach drifter (talk) 00:44, 15 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I probably will go ahead and fix it. In fact, I have found multiple items called "pillboxes" when searching for sources, so much that I may create articles on the others too. Tatterfly (talk) 00:47, 15 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Pillbox edits look good to me. cheers --palmiped |  Talk  23:38, 15 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for beating me to the CSD!--fetchcomms 20:53, 7 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Did you intend to nominate this article for deletion at AfD? You did steps one and three (added an AfD tag and transcluded the deletion discussion to today's AfD log) but missed step two (did not create a deletion discussion page). A Stop at Willoughby (talk) 14:44, 29 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

AFD

[edit]

I have completed your attempted nomination of David Cole (revisionist) for deletion. Please let me know if this was not your intent and I will withdraw the nominator. If it was your intent, you might want to stop by the AFD and voice your opinion, as I distilled the rationale from the templates you placed on the article. Thanks! //Blaxthos ( t / c ) 15:00, 29 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I did add citations. And I just added some more: look at article with name "asterisk" to name one. There are several news sources in this. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cipher.find (talkcontribs) 07:17, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

the message about the image

[edit]

About that message that you restored. Dunno about censoring talk pages, but I'm not fond of the idea of letting trolls post messages full of personal attacks, and then go and treat like they were serious messages. Talk pages are for discussing changes to the article and not for people to vent about how much they despise wikipedia editors. --Enric Naval (talk) 04:49, 11 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

RE: AN/I Fiasco (December 09)

[edit]

I can only return to my originals points. I have no desire to discuss your latest problems with you. That is not what my message was about. Using any notice board for revenge purposes is absolutely out of line. For that matter doing anything on Wikipedia for that reason is cause for concern. As you are no doubt well aware, your entire edit history is there for anyone to scrutinize. It shows a clear pattern of behavior. You can't deal with criticism. You strike out at those that disagree with you. Yet you continue to emphasize that other editors are on your side, that you are in the majority. I'm sorry but I've seen no evidence of that. And as I just pointed out, all the evidence is there for everyone to see. It speaks for its self. Beach drifter (talk) 04:27, 21 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I don't feel as if I am in majority, but rather that you are not in majority. There's quite a difference. I was not born yesterday; I am well aware that my editing history is viewable. I can deal with criticsim, just not legitimate users giving these trolls like Mr. Cricket exactly what they crave. PCHS-NJROTC (Messages) 05:15, 21 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
