Hi! It seems you recently created an unreferenced biography of a living person: Mayer Alter Horowitz. Our verifiability policy requires that all content be cited to a reliable source. Please add references as soon as possible. Thanks! --LaraBot (talk) 00:20, 21 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Boston (Hasidic dynasty), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Lawrence, NY (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Sorry I didn't explain the reason for my revision on the talk page. To my knowledge, we do not include lists of students of individual rabbis or rosh yeshivas on the English Wikipedia; rather, noted alumni are listed on their respective yeshiva pages. (See Ohr Somayach, Jerusalem, Porat Yosef Yeshiva, Beth Medrash Govoha, etc. Aside from whatever the Hebrew Wikipedia does (which is often not sourced at all), your addition leans toward hagiography. Yoninah (talk) 20:55, 4 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Sure, we can leave it. It'll just motivate me to create the Torah Ore page. The basis for the page is already here on this page. Yoninah (talk) 21:45, 4 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I just created the Torah Ore page and moved some of your additions to it. Several of the citations that you added did not support the name, and others were non-reliable sources, so I deleted the references. If you would like to add more faculty or notable alumni, please provide reliable sources. Thank you, Yoninah (talk) 21:21, 20 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
