HELLO!

On Site with Thomas[edit]

Just to fill you in, after reverting the vandalisms, do as it says here. If you leave the warning on their page, check the history right after, and see that they just did it again, then put them up here. If they do it several hours later, though same thing, place the following on their page following the first (I know I didn't put this part there):

{{uw-vandalism4}}

If they vandalize it after that, then, if recent, you should also list them here, so we can get rid of them (at least for a while--all these IPs could potentially be the same person). Since page protection wasn't effective, the statement here describes what I believe to be one of our best bets at at least minimizing the re-adding of these false statements. Any questions, see my talk. C. Foultz 00:23, 8 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thomas and Friends video releases[edit]

I've locked the page so only named editors can edit this. The amount of mini-edits to vandalise the page by inserting little bits of misinformation by ips is utterly ridiculous. If they start up again after the page lock expires (1 week) please let me know. Thanks for your efforts on this one already.--Alf melmac 11:18, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent contribution removed content from Bachmann Thomas & Friends. Please be careful when editing pages and do not remove content from Wikipedia without a good reason, which should be specified in the edit summary. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Don't remove an {{unsourced}} tag unless you actually provide sources. Corvus cornix 22:30, 29 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What vandalism was it? Corvus cornix 22:32, 29 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you can provide some links to prove the information you're reverting to, it would help. Corvus cornix 22:35, 29 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

OK, I'll restore back to what you had, and put the unsourced tag back on, but can you come up with some sources, please? Corvus cornix 22:46, 29 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

But your edit removed the links to the Wikipedia articles about those characters. Corvus cornix 22:47, 29 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks.  :) Corvus cornix 23:06, 29 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Appology[edit]

Hi, I accidentally clicked the Rollback as Vandalism button on one of your edits - which resulted in this edit [1] of mine. I immediately undid my own edit; please don't take offence, it was genuinely a slip of the mouse.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
