Writer credits in the film infobox

Hey there! :-) The discussion on the writer credits in the film infobox has really picked up in the last few days (basically all comments starting from July 30th), and we're now getting closer to a consensus. Currently, we are trying to determine if there are any objections to adding the fields "Screenplay by" and "Story by". The discussion is still located here. If you have read up on the suggestions and have any objections to these two fields, please post here. If some time goes by without objections, we will take these additions for granted and move on to the next solution. Thank you in advance! Prime Blue (talk) 16:28, 2 August 2010 (UTC)

Userpage

I formted my user page similar to yours, changing pretty much everything. You can check it out, and if you don't want anything, or don't like I did, just drop me a message and I'll change it. I hope you don't mind... :/ ChaosMasterChat 22:23, 13 July 2010 (UTC)

K, I will :D And thanks. Um, Kryptonsite reported that season 10 started filming. Plus should we have a new and returning characters section? Also, I put on a few season and the AJ page that we should reassess/improve the article. What do you think? ChaosMasterChat 14:41, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
Only C-class? I figured they would be at least B class, especially Season 2 and 9. And I'll look for detailed information on filming in the future, I just thought it would iconic to report the filming of the last season on a long running show. Doesn't matter either way though. ChaosMasterChat 00:19, 17 July 2010 (UTC)
Oh, while I am replying and messing around with your talkpage (sorry), what do you think of Template:Merlin - Series 1 and Template:Merlin - Series 2? Personally, I do not see why there is 26 episode pages that provide nothing to Wikipedia but longer episode summaries, when you can find shorter ones on the episode page. And even if there is something more on an episode, I am pretty sure that it could be added to the two other main pages of the TV series. ChaosMasterChat 00:24, 17 July 2010 (UTC)

Alright, well, you know I will help you edit the season pages if you need it, so just tell me if you do. And yes, that is my opinion too, but do I need to actually start discussion on it? I mean, I don't intend to sound pushy, but I went through all 26 of them and only 5 or so have 3 references or less. Could I just mark them for speedy deletion and have it all done with? The only good material I have put on the main article on the subject. ChaosMasterChat 02:44, 17 July 2010 (UTC)

I redirected the pages. And made some improvements to the LOE page, though probably more could be done. Thanks for the advice though, and Ill see what I can do on the Smallville articles. ChaosMasterChat 15:34, 17 July 2010 (UTC)

Hey, I got some time and am working on the Smallville pages. I noticed that Seasons 1 - 3 don't have cast sections. Is there a reason why? Also, I think it would make more sense if we have production come before the episode list, as production, casting, effects, exc. come before any episode is released. Awards, ratings and reception can come after the list. What's your opinion on that? ChaosMasterChat 00:29, 24 July 2010 (UTC)

Alright. I also submitted Season 2 and 9 for peer review so maybe we can have some help/tips with editing the article. I removed the cast list from Seasons 7-9 and (tried to) improve the leads on those pages. We have a lot of work, lol. ChaosMasterChat 17:07, 24 July 2010 (UTC)
Lexis Nexis? I googled that and I found a law/legal site, which is odd. And you want to seperate the few episodes on season 2 in seperate pages, right? I'll try to do some searching on more reception for the finale... which we could combine in one article. Also, season 4-7 seems kind of bare, reguarding production and reception. What should I search to find production information? I don't think searching "Smallville Season 4 Production" would be giving us much... Bringing up combining one article, it seems that the fourth episode of Season 10 will be the 200th episode. The reference I sourced for Braniac I think points that out. So heres round 4? of Absolute Justice being one episode again. *Sigh* Also, season 9 needs to have a transistion between the third and fourth paragraphs. It seems odd to go from a paragraph soley based on Zod to stating that it was moved to Friday. I was going to change it, but I honestly don't know what to add. Any ideas? ChaosMasterChat 15:38, 25 July 2010 (UTC)
Season 9's lead is really good now. Some minor improvements left, but thats really all. Wow, you read and wrote down all the information for seasons 1-3? Thats awsome, and it has paid off. I think I will submit Season 3 for peer review after we fix the lead in that and do some improvements to the episode list's descriptions. Other than that it seems to be fine as well. Maybe we can submit Absolute Justice's article for GA status also? It looks good also. And yea, I'll work on some things for the season 2 page and the reception for the other articles. I'm in no rush though. I looked reception for season 4 up on google earlier and came accross.... nothing. So i'll probably have to revert to using Dogpile or something. ChaosMasterChat 18:00, 25 July 2010 (UTC)
I did some of Season 2's reception in your Season 2 rework userspace. Its heavy on ratings data (surprisingly) and not so heavy on reviews.... check it out and see if you like it. ChaosMasterChat 19:02, 25 July 2010 (UTC)
Sounds good to me. I'll work on that also. Some interesting things reguarding season 10 from the Comic-Con too. Unfortunately, most of the stuff I read is on facebook and twitter, and even though I have this strong urge to put the information in the season 10 article, I'll wait until theres some reliable sources on it. Was there any companion book for season 8 or 9? ChaosMasterChat 20:03, 25 July 2010 (UTC)
I am pretty sure Geoff Johns already announced he would be back and what type of episode it will be about. I'll look for it, I just signed on so I am missing a lot of info from today. ChaosMasterChat 01:38, 27 July 2010 (UTC)

Thanks. I was reading it on the saeson 10 page and realized that you have mentions of characters returning 2 times. Why not just put them together? I'll see what I come up with and you can stamp your seal of approval on afterward :P Feel free to help there as well. ChaosMasterChat 02:39, 27 July 2010 (UTC)

Sorry to just ignore your mention of Geoff John's episode. I am excited. I have faith that he will handle the material well. I am keeping my fingers crossed for a two hour mid season return. On another note, I think I have pretty much finished up the changes in the Development section. Could you look at the section there just in case there are some major changes you would like to make? ChaosMasterChat 12:20, 27 July 2010 (UTC)

Quick question: Were Darren Swimmer and Todd Slavkin still producers on Smallville for season 8? If so, didn't they depart for season 9? ChaosMasterChat 23:50, 28 July 2010 (UTC)

Okay. I think we should mention DS and TS leaving in the season 9 page when we get to improving that (2 years down the line, lol). And I thought the Comic-Con preview was amazing and the teaser trailer that was just released today (and was basically just a season 9 mash-up) was great as well. I am greatly thankful The CW hasn't messed up "The Final Season" aspect ... yet. ChaosMasterChat 01:14, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
Really? I thought it was far better than the previous versions. And I really have a feeling Rosenbaum will return. Also, when we have Superman in the Smallville series, there is no need for any quotes or anything, right? ChaosMasterChat 01:31, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, I was wondering how in the world Welling would fit into that too. And yeah, the sheild was too small. I think that is what influenced the "S" on Clark's chest in season 9; they look very similar. And I am refering to when we mention Superman. Should we say "Superman", Superman, or just simply Superman. The reason why I ask is because of it being a movie and character name, plus its the basis for Smallville. ChaosMasterChat 01:47, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
My fault for not telling you where the second trailer is. You can find a shorter version on The CW's website. The full version is reference 17 on season 10, or here. The thing about the CW website trailer is the stupid "Smallville" card with the annoying GREEN and SILVER text saying Friday 8/7C. Is it that hard for the marketing team at the network to do exactly what was done on the full trailer for every commercial? I am sure it doesn't cost more money. They can use the same shot on the trailer. Its blue/black/white/gray. But no, The CW insists upon the annoying and horrible orange/redish-green-silver combination. Honestly, starting on Friday, they should just use the full trailer after every repeat and during other shows. I want to see the premiere with 3.50+ viewers! And thank you. That does help. I was a little confused before :) ChaosMasterChat 02:14, 29 July 2010 (UTC)

Hey, I don't really want to start another heading, so I'll just put it under here. What is your opinion on The Last Airbender's production section (the header format)? I just was iffy about the current format and wanted to see (since you seem to be good on that stuff) if you had a different opinion. I don't mean for it to take up much of your time, and hopefully it doesn't... :) ChaosMasterChat 01:11, 5 August 2010 (UTC)

That wasn't my main concern, but I'll probably end up doing that, so thanks for pointing that out. I'm working on adding more (sourced) info to the Visual effects section, but would a long section require itself to be separated from the development section? It makes sense to separate them, but most of the visual effects were tested and such before the film was casted or filmed, thus fitting it with the development section would be appropriate. ChaosMasterChat 01:43, 5 August 2010 (UTC)

Supernatural

Hey. I'm trying to finish up Supernatural (season 3). Do you mind taking a look at the Production section and beyond when you get the chance? Thanks. Ωphois 15:11, 5 August 2010 (UTC)

Re: TCM

Thanks, Bignole. I guess there's still some work left to be done. It seems like it will take forever before it becomes FA, but I guess it'll be worth it in the end. --The Taerkasten (talk) 14:58, 7 August 2010 (UTC)

I'll get to work on the reception section soon enough, but I guess the article is essentially done, in terms of information. I'm thinking about a subarticle on the interpretations section, but that'll have to come a bit later.--The Taerkasten (talk) 19:21, 9 August 2010 (UTC)

GAN

Can you review A Hero Sits Next Door. --Pedro J. the rookie 18:53, 9 August 2010 (UTC)

Whoops

Yes, I meant to say GL/FL, not GA/FA. I've had those discussions already determining that and I actually contradicted myself using FL later in the post! =) I've replied confirming that in the event any other people take part as well. CycloneGU (talk) 01:09, 10 August 2010 (UTC)

Quick Thanks

...for your insight on the Peer Review for Glee (season 1). It certainly did what a peer review should, which is have an extra pair of eyes help find things that we may have missed. Please give me a heads-up whenever you start the DVD discussion relating to T.V. series with a post on my talk page, and I'll be sure to monitor it for a consensus. I've left a couple of other details for Frickative to sort out being the technical subject expert and original writer (thus having a better understanding), and #4 will be a talk page consensus between the two of us, though we welcome your comments on what we decide at her talk page as the discussion goes on. =) CycloneGU (talk) 05:08, 10 August 2010 (UTC)

Need some advice for Demon (Supernatural)

Hey, I was wondering what you thought about Demon (Supernatural)? I kinda based it off of Dalek, but I feel that there isn't that much third-party sources mentioning demons to have their own article. I can't decide whether to keep it like it is, or maybe just merge it into the characters list or recurring themes section of the main page. What are your thoughts? Thanks. Ωphois 04:39, 13 August 2010 (UTC)

Thanks re A Hero Sits Next Door

Thanks for your help with Pedro's edits to "A Hero Sits Next Door". I've opened a discussion at WP:FG regarding Pedro's editing, which I feel is oftentimes good-faith but ultimately counterproductive. Doniago (talk) 14:25, 13 August 2010 (UTC)

Further Request for Opinion

Since you helped very nicely (thanks BTW!) with the Peer Review of Glee (season 1), I'm coming back to ask you to give it another quick look-over because it might in fact now meet the criteria for FA, not just FL. It is currently listed for FLC. Would you mind giving it a quick view and giving me an opinion one way or the other? Frickative and I are currently considering whether to change the nomination.

Your further feedback is appreciated! CycloneGU (talk) 20:38, 20 August 2010 (UTC)

Smallville note name

When I created the note for both the season 9 and 10 articles of Smallville, I was having trouble just naming the notes "1" or a smaller name to avoid total obstuction of the table. Do you know of any way to fix this? ChaosMasterChat 01:24, 21 August 2010 (UTC)

No problem. I tried to fool around with it, but when I got a smaller name, something else would be wrong, so it was just better to add it and fix it later. ChaosMasterChat 01:33, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
Also, I am now noticing the Futon Critic does not list the production code. It is simply now "1001" which I interpret as season 10 episode 1. ChaosMasterChat 00:38, 22 August 2010 (UTC)

Thank you

Thanks big fir reviewing the artical, and being awsome at it, and if you do not mind could you make me a favor and review FG season 1 that is on FG. --Pedro J. the rookie 11:23, 19 August 2010 (UTC)

Thank you, nole means a lot to me. --Pedro J. the rookie 14:43, 19 August 2010 (UTC)
Big remember about the PR. --Pedro J. the rookie 17:53, 22 August 2010 (UTC)
Alright thank you :]. --Pedro J. the rookie 18:21, 22 August 2010 (UTC)

Supernatural episode

Hey, I have finished the article No Rest for the Wicked (Supernatural)‎ and had someone copyedit it. I plan on putting it up for FAC, but before that do you mind glancing through it for any glaring errors? Thanks. Ωphois 22:49, 22 August 2010 (UTC)

WP Horror in the Signpost

I noticed that WikiProject Horror has fallen into semi-active status, although user:Andrzejbanas continues to update the project's page and at least three other members regularly edit articles about horror films. A couple years ago, a request was made to feature the project in the Signpost's WikiProject Report. I would like to fulfill your project's request if you and some of your fellow members would be interested in trying to revive the project. The publicity from the Signpost would definitely help a revival effort as well as bring attention to the accomplishments you and your fellow project members have already achieved. If you're interested, please let me know by leaving a note here or on my talk page. -Mabeenot (talk) 02:51, 25 August 2010 (UTC)

Proposition of another bold idea/looking for advice on how to help out with 70s/80s horror articles.

Hi again bignole, I'm interested on helping out on some of the other 80s/70s horror articles but I thought perhaps I should consult with you first as you seem to be one of the biggest voices on what is grounds for inclusion and what's not, and maybe you can point me in a direction where I wont be wasting my time. One thing I am keen on (which I am almost sure you will shut down, but I want to know why before I waste both our time) is to have a body count or similar for many of the slashers. I've written down every kill for all the F13s, and I think this is very important because I believe there is a hidden subcontex in relation to the order each stereotype dies, as well as the times jason is perceived as dead, as well as the total he kills, I think others will start to see it too, it's not OR it's merely presenting the events in the film in a different light. Hopefully eventually I can be of some use to these articles, since these are almost the only films I watch and I do it religiously, thanks. The LMOE (talk) 16:36, 28 August 2010 (UTC)

Quick question

I know you covered this before, but just quickly: why put the episodes before the production in episode lists? I don't want to change any of the season pages, just wanted to refresh my memory. Thanks. ChaosMasterChat 21:14, 29 August 2010 (UTC)

Thanks. I appreciate it. Another thing that just popped into my head: would the cast section in any article (film or TV) be okay as a list, or would a complete prose paragraph do? Is it acceptable to use both? ChaosMasterChat 23:09, 29 August 2010 (UTC)

Indentation

Hey, you might be interested in WP:INDENT, in your restructuring of the talk page, you changed some of the indentation making it look like some posts were replies to other posts while they weren't. Also {{OD}} doesn't exist it's either (You've used it twice now), it's {{Outdent}} or {{Outdent2}}Xeworlebi (talk) 13:59, 31 August 2010 (UTC)

What was lost? It all looked fine when I was reading over it before I saved it. As for the outdenting. "OD" does exist....it's just "od". LOL. I kept capitalizing it when it should have simply been lowercase. Thank you for correcting it for me.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 14:06, 31 August 2010 (UTC)
Nothing was lost, I didn't say that. What I did say was that you indented comments to make them look like responses to previous posts while they were not. Xeworlebi (talk) 14:09, 31 August 2010 (UTC)
I gotcha now. In my experience, the next replay is always indented regardless of whether it was commenting on the previous reply or a new thought. I wasn't aware of the page you linked me to that shows a different usage. I rarely if ever see people not indent in the next statement.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 14:11, 31 August 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, I know, that's why I put the link at the top of my talk page as well as an editnotice. I makes discussions a lot easier to follow. Xeworlebi (talk) 14:14, 31 August 2010 (UTC)
