Uploading files
[edit]Hi.
Thank you for the images you have contributed. They are quite nice. I especially like File:SS-A5-20 RSR 20180708.jpg. I have tagged them for transfer to Wikimedia Commons. For any future uploads, please consider uploading them directly to Commons. Commons acts as a central media repository making the images available not only for the English Wikipedia, but all other languages and sister projects as well. Cheers. -- Whpq (talk) 19:31, 11 February 2020 (UTC)
Hello Whpq,
Sorry, I've only just seen your message after uploading a few more images (6 in total). I will read the wiki help as to how to upload images to Wikimedia Commmons for future uploads.
Regards Blammy1 (talk) 21:41, 11 February 2020 (UTC)
- No need to be sorry. If you run into difficulties in uploading to Commons, feel free to leave a message on my talk page. Cheers. -- Whpq (talk) 23:04, 11 February 2020 (UTC)
The article Mill Farm Sports Village has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Local sports centre with local coverage.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Mccapra (talk) 17:50, 18 May 2020 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for November 17
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Preston, Lancashire, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Roman. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 05:58, 17 November 2021 (UTC)

- Hi. Yes, I probably would be, but unfortunately, I am a bit pushed for free time these days and have a couple a near-complete drafts of other pages I need to complete first. But certainly keep me in the loop and I'll contribute where and whenever possible. Blammy1 (talk) 14:31, 17 June 2023 (UTC)
