MITROGLOU

Yes hello.I've noticed that in the greek championship column there were 6 of them.Mitroglou has won only 4 with Olympiakos.I had double checked it, and in the transfermarkt page also is the same.It says 4 Tiltes. In the year 2014 and 12 mitroglou was loan in Fulham and Panionios.

You can ckeck it here: http://www.transfermarkt.com/konstantinos-mitroglou/erfolge/spieler/34944 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A02:587:3E0C:6800:25DC:7C96:7A57:7F2A (talk) 14:03, 10 April 2017 (UTC)

If you have a reliable source that supports whatever you are claiming, update the source on the page and make the change so that it can be reviewed. I am not super familiar with greek footballers, but I know that you made an unsourced change. I'd encourage you to make the change if you can reliably support it. Also, please remember to sign your posts on talk pages. Thanks and happy editing! bojo | talk 12:53, 11 April 2017 (UTC)

Thank you for the acceptance of my edit. I didn't expect so fast reaction. I am impressed :-) 85.193.243.210 (talk) 15:39, 19 April 2017 (UTC)

I've declined your A1 speedy of this. 5 minutes is too soon, but anyway, the topic is clear: a district of Singapore. Valenciano (talk) 15:55, 20 April 2017 (UTC)

Promotional Name Violation

Hi, bojo1498. I'm new to this so wanted to discuss. According to Wikipedia, "Promotional usernames: Are the name of a company, organization, group, website, or product (including non-profit organizations) Contain URLs or email addresses" My username, Waynepyleactor, does not meet any of those. I am an actor and my name is Wayne Pyle. I've requested an article be written and included my notable achievements as an actor. Also, please correct me if I'm wrong (I'm really new to this) but Wikipedia's policies also state that you should, "Please discuss less-serious violations with the user so that they can rename or abandon their account in good faith. If, after discussion with a user, the problem still seems unresolved, a username request for comment may be in order. Please do not leave a username warning template on a user's talk page and then immediately report them here. Either discuss it with the user, or report it for admin action, but don't do both at the same time. Real names are permitted except when they imply that the editor is a specific living person they are not." [1] Wayne Pyle is my real name and I am an actor. I could have written waynepyleplumber or waynepylecook which are names of professions, not companies, organizations, groups, websites or products. If I chose waynepylegriffintheatrecompany or waynepylehudsonvalleycasting, that would be a promotional username, yes? Thanks for your insight! Waynepyleactor (talk) 16:56, 20 April 2017 (UTC)

Waynepyleactor, You're right, since you are using a personal name rather than a company name or the like, the promotional username rule doesn't apply. It is generally frowned upon to create or greatly contribute to articles about yourself, but I suppose adding yourself to an article request page is a bit different. You're treading in somewhat murky waters, but I don't think you are directly violating any policies. I apologize for reporting you. Thanks and happy editing! bojo | talk 20:42, 20 April 2017 (UTC)

Thanks so much, bojo1498. I'm looking forward to getting more involved! Waynepyleactor (talk) 18:17, 21 April 2017 (UTC)

What's your problem? re: Charley Webb

You need to calm down. I did not realise you have to reference family. I would have added a reference had you of LEFT the information I put there however you decided to get rid of it which was completely unnecessary as it is not hard to find references.

Not even sure why you're bothered that much but next time maybe wait for someone to correct their mistake before deleting stuff that took them a while to do. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.5.116.13 (talk) 20:07, 23 April 2017 (UTC)

I'd encourage you to read WP:BLP. We as wikipedia editors must be extremely careful and methodical about how we write about living people. You added information that did not have a source, which directly violates this policy. The onus is on you as the editor to add a citation at the same time you add any information. Since you had put the information on multiple pages without adding a citation, I had no reason to believe that you were going to add one later on. If you have a reliable source, I'd encourage you to add back the information along with that source. Also, please remember to sign your posts on talk pages. Thanks and happy editing! bojo | talk 12:56, 24 April 2017 (UTC)

Deleted page contents

May I please have the contents from my deleted page? Much appreciated, sorry for violating any rules. ReeseWilson (talk) 05:28, 25 April 2017 (UTC)

ReeseWilson, Hey there. Unfortunately, wikipedia does not maintain archives of deleted pages. If you really need to recover the data, you could try contacting an administrator (such as DGG, the administrator who speedy deleted your page, but it's quite possible they will deny your request since the content violated policy. I can't really help beyond that. Thanks and happy editing! bojo | talk 12:57, 25 April 2017 (UTC)

In regards to Mohammed Nawaz

Hi bojo, I hope you could explain to me what requirement my page failed, as I can't get my head around it https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mohammed_Nawaz — Preceding unsigned comment added by YamDeeYoumar (talkcontribs) 23:44, 25 April 2017 (UTC)

YamDeeYoumar (talk) 23:34, 25 April 2017 (UTC)

YamDeeYoumar, as I said in the nomination, it fails WP:NCRIC, the notability guidelines for cricketers. Please review these guidelines if you haven't already. If you disagree with the nomination, you can make an argument at the article's AfD. Thanks and happy editing! bojo | talk 14:18, 26 April 2017 (UTC)

Sure, I'll make my point there. Thanks loads! YamDeeYoumar (talk) 23:04, 26 April 2017 (UTC)

UEFA Champions League

HI. I just wanted to ask you to be more careful when you accept edits like this. In this case the team had not qualified and the reason for the page protection is to avoid these kind of edits, when IP adds their teams even though they have not matematically qualified. If you are not sure it is better to leave it or ask someone else. Qed237 (talk) 09:46, 26 April 2017 (UTC)

Qed237, apologies. Thanks for catching my mistake! bojo | talk 14:20, 26 April 2017 (UTC)
No problem, it happens. Just wanted to let you know. Qed237 (talk) 15:09, 26 April 2017 (UTC)

Being an 18th century baron is important, probably notable. Dlohcierekim 22:45, 26 April 2017 (UTC)

Dlohcierekim, I believe you. However when I googled him I didn't find anything. I was probably just missing something. C'est la vie. bojo | talk 14:51, 27 April 2017 (UTC)
Info sources on 18th century people are not always on the internet. Mostly in old, dusty books on musty university shelves.😊 Dlohcierekim 16:50, 27 April 2017 (UTC)
Dlohcierekim, yeah, makes sense. Thanks for catching my mistake! bojo | talk 18:42, 27 April 2017 (UTC)
