A tag has been placed on A New Breed Of Female requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article has never existed, has been deleted or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Hello there. I wanted to ask if you are able to confirm the existence and release of The Nas Demo Tape: Know The Ledge? If not, then I will have to delete the article, since it may be a non-notable release or false information. Thanks. --Esanchez(Talk 2 me or Sign here) 03:54, 6 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The website seems more like a blog site and they are not always considered as reliable sources. Even the blog itself is not able to confirm the "demo tape" to be correct. Is there any additional resources that could prove the tape to be real? Use reliable sources that can validate the demo tape. --Esanchez(Talk 2 me or Sign here) 04:01, 6 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The source you mentioned does not seem to mention much about the demo and it does not confirm the demo's validity on the article you wrote. The source you have provided are not quite supportive for your article, so far. --Esanchez(Talk 2 me or Sign here) 04:34, 6 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 04:10, 6 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. It said it was recorded in 1987 and 1988 in the liner notes.

So cite it. The burden of evidence lies with you, since you added it. Try the Template:Cite album-notes for citing liner notes. Dan56 (talk) 03:23, 28 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Get the album and look at the notes. Not hard. Also dude, how could they have made an album in 4 months? Seriously, it would have taken longer. So obviously some of it was recorded in 1987. Also, how do you change back the font size on wikipedia? All of a sudden everything got smaller

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
