Adding reference lists[edit]
Hi. Please pay more attention when adding reference lists like you did in this edit to British Rail Class 86. You should have seen that a footnotes group already existed and that the problem was simply that an editor had recently added a single new footnote in a different group. All that you needed to do was change the group in the new note to match the existing pattern. Secondly, do not use semicolons to create sub-section headers – this is an accessibility failure and per MOS:PSEUDOHEAD is not permitted. Thank you. XAM2175 (T) 12:21, 1 March 2023 (UTC)
- It's extremely difficult to get it right every time. There are lots of pages that will simply revert an edit that a particular user doesn't like. Doing it like this fixed the WP:NOREFLIST error, but if the editor had made the change on purpose, it would have been easy for them to see what it was and change it. Damned if I do, and Damned if I don't I suppose.

Tense[edit]
Hi, re this edit: we still use the plural tense even when referring to a singular person: refer e.g. the APA style guide, which says: "Use a plural verb form with the singular pronoun “they” (i.e., write “they are” not “they is”).". Galobtter (pingó mió) 05:28, 7 March 2023 (UTC)
