I'm sorry for removing your paragraph, but I think it's better to add material when you have the references to hand to support the facts you present, and to consider how it fits with what has already been written. Also I suggest you reconsider the style in which your paragraph was written, which was not encyclopaedic but rather more like a personal essay.
