A tag has been placed on Draft:Boyum IT Solutions, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, BoyumMarketing. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. HᴇʀᴘᴇᴛᴏGᴇɴᴇꜱɪꜱ (talk) 17:27, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing because of the following problems: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group or a web site, which is against the username policy.

You may request a change of name and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions other than promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. 331dot (talk) 09:10, 10 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I did a username change request more than a week ago, but I never heard back from wikipedia about this. So here is my request to a new username again, I would like to use the name "LiSe" which are two letters of my first and last name. Next to that I would like my accound to be unblocked, as I have read all the materials that are available to write a good article. I rewrote my previous information for the page I want to create, which is not about promoting or advertising anymore. I found several topics on wikipedia that I used as an example to write my article as neutral as possible. My intend with this account is creating a first article about the company I work for, to put it on the wikipedia map, since our competitors are also represent here.

Decline reason:

You'll have to choose a different username, per below. SQLQuery me! 16:07, 28 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Whether your competitors have articles or not is immaterial to whether your company merits an article or not. See other stuff exists. Each article is judged on its own merits, this means that not every company in a field merits an article. A company merits an article if it receives significant coverage in independent reliable sources showing how it meets Wikipedia's special definition of a notable company. Wikipedia has no interest in what a company wants to say about itself. Someone else will review your request, but it is unlikely you will be unblocked to edit about your company, at least in the short term. 331dot (talk) 10:42, 10 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

New username

[edit]

The rename probbably failed. Estimated reason:

The username "LiSe" is too similar to the following usernames:Please choose another username.

Victor Schmidt (talk) 15:56, 10 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Victor Schmidt: why are you posting here, telling someone to choose a new name? You're neither a global renamer nor an administrator. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 04:14, 11 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@NinjaRobotPirate: He seems to be working our side of the street. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 08:33, 13 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Or, less likely, I've been on sabbatical and no other renamer got to it. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 08:34, 13 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Well, he is right about the usernames. The chosen username is too similar to existing usernames or it used to be username of someone else that got renamed: *~*Lise*~*, LISE, Lise and Lisè. Please make another selection. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 08:35, 13 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
