Hello, BuySomeApples! I have just submitted and finalized my revision with the following note: "Most attention was required in the first paragraph as it sets the overall tone as an encyclopedia entry. I have trimmed it down quite a lot while incorporating secondary, reliable sources and content from later paragraphs. The intention was to focus on essential, introductory facts. Elsewhere I have made stylistic changes to make things easier for lay readers to understand." It was a great challenge to pay attention to exactly what makes an encyclopedia article as opposed to an essay. I tried to take that into account as much as possible. The article Process science has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Likely no WP:SIGCOV per WP:TOOSOON - This [paper https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=3916817] from September 2021 proposes the creation of this field. Makes a variety of ambitious claims about encompassing all of computer science, business management, and engineering. WP:ECREE unlikely to be met.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist.
