I am trying to have an article I just wrote be searchable using the last name of the subject. How do I do that? Please talk me through it - sending me a list of links to hyper-complex instructions isn't helping so far . . . Thank you.
It's instantly searchable, both on Wikipedia and elsewhere. It will show up in search when the Wikipedia database has updated (so maybe a few hours, I guess). It'll also show up in Google and other search engines once they've noticed the Wikipedia article has been created – maybe a day or so. Hope this answers you question —αlεx•mullεr17:24, 10 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Welcome to Wikipedia please remember to sign after you have posted something on your talk page, like above. I have fixed it for you though. Now, if you wish to create a page that will automatically direct to the article you have created do this. Find the link to create a page, or just click this link. Once there you can follow those directions. Now, when you have finished this, let me know and I will help you from there. Good luck and happy editing.....Dustitalk to me17:26, 10 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
