Please help me with... being hunted by a Wikipedia user. I'm a new contributor and didn't fully understand the rules or the procedures on my first day of use. I mistakenly repeatedly edited a page on Nick Gordon, identifying him as having been found civilly liable in the death of Bobbi Brown, daughter of singer Bobby Brown. I had the wrong celebrity Nick Gordon, and I acknowledge my error--it was an honest mistake arising from the fact that there is apparently more than one celebrity named Nick Gordon. Those edits got the attention of a Wikipedia user by the name of Stevietheman who created and maintains the Nick Gordon page. He then started going through other additions and edits that I made on other pages. Some of the changes were valid; I understand that now, it was an honest mistake, I won't repeat the mistakes, I even thanked him for bringing it to my attention, and again there's no problem.
The problem now, however, is that I now understand the rules, I wish to contribute and abide by the rules, and I am making genuine, legitimate edits and additions, but Stevietheman is indiscriminately erasing everything I post and calling it spam. It's ridiculous! So now I'm getting these warnings about having my account suspended, and I basically can't post ANYTHING because Stevietheman is going to revert it almost instantaneously and without merit. How do I get someone to examine this objectively? I don't want to get suspended. I understand now what spamming is and that it's not allowed - I don't need to be told again. I just want to be able to make authorized edits that adhere to Wikipedia's policies without someone who has a personal vendetta trying to suspend me because I mistakenly tried to put incorrect information on one of his precious Wikipedia pages.

- I think I saw you in the IRC help, and I'm pretty sure that Huon covered everything you were having issues with. If you ever have any questions about an edit, a great place to ask is the article talk page. On the talk page, you can discuss with other editors and figure thing out. If you ever have questions about something, you can always ask at the Teahouse, use another {{help me}} template, or jump back into the WP:IRCHELP. Oh, and by the way: You can remove those warnings from your talk page if you've read them and are moving on. Happy editing! -- AntiCompositeNumber (Leave a message) 00:59, 12 October 2016 (UTC)
