Made a new page for Touro College and University System

[edit]

Hey there, as someone who might have a lot of information about Touro, please note I made a new page for Touro College and University System for total info about the whole network as distinct from the information at Touro College. Please feel free to make whatever edits are necessary to make sure the correct information is on the correct page as I understand these entities to be distinct. Cheers! Vada Manager

[edit]

Some of your edits at Vada O. Manager were good. Some were rather counterproductive. You duplicated some content and you made a has out of the introduction. 103.6.219.0 (talk) 07:06, 28 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

This is the second time that I've removed copyright violations added by you to that article. I seem to have forgotten to leave you a warning the first time (which was 14 November 2017) – sorry about that! Please do not copy anything from external sources unless you are sure that it is acceptable to do so (in which case, you must provide attribution of the source).
Please take this as a final warning: if I see that you have again added copyright material to any page, anywhere in Wikipedia, I intend to ask for your account to be indefinitely blocked. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 13:47, 15 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I got it. I am very clear about what you are saying, Justlettersandnumbers (talk). No doubt at all. I am pretty sure I am giving up. If I decide I want to finish this task, I will put it somewhere else and let JesseRafe (talk) be the gatekeeper of the page. I obviously haven't sorted any of this out the right way and I guess with the two pages, now, with Touro College and the University System, it's good enough and, if it's not, then JesseRafe (talk) can make those additions or edits, not me. I am also sorry if my reply isn't formal enough. I never went to law school. Brnobaud (talk) 13:28, 8 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, thanks, I'm not the gatekeeper of any page. I came across it and saw it needed work. JLAN and I are just volunteers and help make the encyclopedia better in ways that we can as a hobby. We've been here awhile and have internalized the rules a bit, so we try to make sure our edits conform to those rules. Copyright is one of those rules, it's a very low threshold for tolerance on the subject. Please continue to contribute in meaningful ways, maybe edit about other subjects to get a feel for the greater project. Oh, and it is very much unnecessary to ping/link/tag every time you mention an editor. A good rule of thumb is if they've already started a comment on a talk page they might have it in their "watchlist" (which gives a customizable summary of recent changes to Wikipedia pages of interest). Cheers! JesseRafe (talk) 14:15, 8 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
