January 2023[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm MrOllie. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. Hi
I already read guidelines and that I read is:
  • Some acceptable external links include those that contain further research that is accurate and on-topic, information that could not be added to the article for reasons such as copyright or amount of detail, or other meaningful, relevant content that is not suitable for inclusion in an article for reasons unrelated to its accuracy
I do not see why links that present poker hands ratings in an article that presents poker hands ratings could be:
  • inaccurate ?
  • off-topic ?
Not to mention that the majority of Wikipedia pages I read do have those kink of external links (sometimes mentioned as references)
So yes, I really need some clarification here.
Thanks Brunetton (talk) 14:12, 19 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
External links that duplicate article content (or potential article content) shouldn't be added. We're here to build content on this site, not to link to content on other sites. MrOllie (talk) 14:19, 19 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
