Some cookies to welcome you!

Welcome to Wikipedia, Bruurbscat! Thank you for your contributions. I am Tintor2 and I have been editing Wikipedia for some time, so if you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. You can also check out Wikipedia:Questions or type {{help me}} at the bottom of this page. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that will automatically produce your username and the date. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Tintor2 (talk) 20:37, 2 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Categories

[edit]

Please do not add unsupported categories to articles as you did to Metal Gear. For a category to be added to an article it needs to be supported by referenced text in the article. None of the Metal Gear articles make any mention of Cyberpunk or Dystopian themes so therefore we cannot add these as categories. See WP:CATVER for the policies on this. Thank you. Information icon Before adding a category to an article, please make sure that the subject of the article really belongs in the category that you specified according to Wikipedia's categorization guidelines. Categories must also be supported by the article's verifiable content. Categories may be removed if they are deemed incorrect for the subject matter. Thank you.

Again you've been asked to stop adding bad categories to articles that are not supported by referenced material in the article, but you continue to do so as in this edit. As previously mentioned categories must be supported by referenced text in the article, which the categories you're adding do not. Please refrain from adding bad categories to articles.
