B.K. Birla Institute of Engineering & Technology (BTTIPILANI)[1] is an polytechnic diploma college affiliated to Board of Technical Education Rajasthan (BTER) and located in Pilani, Rajasthan, India. It was founded in 1988 by Krishnarpan Charity Trust, with Basant Kumar Birla as chairman.[2]

Description[edit]

BTTIPILANI, Pilani is part of Shree Krishnarpan Charity Trust, under the chairmanship of Syt. Basant Kumarji Birla. The Institute was established in 1988. It is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University, Kota.

Campus[edit]

The Institute is located near CSIR-CEERI and B.K. Birla Institute of Engineering & Technology in the Vidya Vihar area of Pilani town in Jhunjhunu district, Rajasthan. Pilani is home town of famous Birla Family an has a population of about 50,000. It is about 200 kms west of Delhi and about 220 kms north of Jaipur. The institute building, hostels and residential quarters, lawns and gardens constitute the BTTI campus of about 10 Acres.

Residential and dining facilities[edit]

The campus contains one hostel: for boys. Contain triple and double. Although in a separate building, the mess is attached to the hostel building. A common room sits above the mess and contains games like chess, carom and table tennis. There is a TV in the common room.
