Question

[edit]

Hi, I saw my edit on the Germanwings Flight 9525 page was removed. Do you think an "In popular culture" section should be its own thing, or that the information itself was unnecessary? BullworthMascot (talk) 18:51, 9 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

In the case of your addition there were three problems. First the ref made no mention of the book, so it did not support the claim. Second you indicated it was "briefly mentioned", which shows that it is non-notable. Third almost all pop culture is WP:TRIVIA. Trivia might be appropriate in a personal blog but Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, WP:NOTBLOG. - Ahunt (talk) 20:13, 9 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for letting me know, I'll be sure to use this information in future edits. BullworthMascot (talk) 04:34, 10 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
