Counter-Vandalism Unit[edit]

Hi Burroburrito, I noticed that you like to revert vandalism— an area I am also passionate about. It makes me happy to see others taking an interest in the field, and I love to help out new vandal fighters. I invite you to check out the Counter-Vandalism Unit, which is a WikiProject purely dedicated to countervandalism— there’s lots of pages and tips there that you might find helpful. Warmly, Helen(💬📖) 03:17, 29 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Helen, Thank you for noticing! I am new to all this, and would really appreciate learning more about how it all works. I have gotten so much from Wikipedia over the years and want to start giving back. Are you a trainer? Thanks! Burroburrito (talk) 03:22, 29 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not a trainer yet, but I might consider it in the future once I have a few more months of experience. However, I believe one of the CVU Academy trainers has an open slot, if you're interested in taking the course. Helen(💬📖) 03:28, 29 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Appreciated! I'll look into it, and until then, I'll just keep removing people adding "butt" to various pages. Burroburrito (talk) 03:44, 29 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

October 2021[edit]

Information icon Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made: you may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Thank you. Kaseng55 (talk) 03:49, 5 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2022 Elections voter message[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:51, 29 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
