Request reason:

My first article was removed within an hour of first being posted. Seeing that it was my first article and i had to reserch on how to do it, i was not given proper time to insert supporting evidence or references to meet Wikipedia:Verifiability. If that is going to tarnish my future contributions then i might as well make a new user name. I'm reluctant to believe that Wikipedias admins are anything but self-righteous hate mongerers.

Decline reason:

No grounds for unblocking provided. --jpgordon::==( o ) 18:00, 8 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

All we need to worry about here is your username. Your deleted article aside, the blocking admin, Netsnipe, and I all agree that your username is not appropriate, just as it would not be allowed for a person of color to title themselves a nigger: "jap" and to a lesser extent, "jew" are often used as ethnic slurs, and this username is going to make people very uncomfortable. I assure you, the deleted article is nothing, it will not tarnish your future contributions, nor do I think this username block will. If you want to try again with the article that can happen once your username issue is addressed. I'm not declining your request but you might want to amend it or change it, because it doesn't really address the block reason: you were not blocked for your article. Seconded. Please choose a username that's a lot less likely to offend and I'll assume good faith and support an unblock. --  Netsnipe  ►  07:33, 9 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I am a Jewish person of Japanese decent and this is a nickname my good friends have bestowed upon me. It is offensive to me that you are blocking my username based on my religious beliefs and ethnical background.

Decline reason:

Considering that your first article appears to be a hoax, or at the very least fails Wikipedia:Verifiability completely, I'm reluctant to believe that your intentions on Wikipedia are honest. --  Netsnipe  ►  13:31, 8 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Paul Kovacs

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Paul Kovacs, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Not a person of Notability, No references, None found either.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. [edit]

Please do not add hoaxes to Wikipedia, such as you did in the article Paul Kovacs. Hoaxes are caught and marked for deletion shortly after they are created. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method is to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia – and then to correct them if possible. Please don't disrupt Wikipedia in an attempt to test our ability to detect and remove such material. Feel free to take a look at the five pillars of Wikipedia policy to learn more about this project and how you can make a positive impact. Thank you. Blueboy96 13:51, 2 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
