Notability of Crushed in 4th Period[edit]

Ambox warning pn.svg

A tag has been placed on Crushed in 4th Period requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Mvjs (talk) 06:30, 4 July 2008 (UTC)

Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Mvjs (talk) 11:27, 4 July 2008 (UTC)

October 2009[edit]

Information.svg Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did with this edit to American football (disambiguation), is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article.   — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 04:50, 15 October 2009 (UTC)

Hi, before you make widespread genre changes to Fugazi's page and the pages for most of their releases, would you care to have discussed why on the talk page? Going against an established consensus (mainly the "Do not add emo without discussion on talk page" message), especially without trying to discuss it or change it is not a very good idea. I've reverted your edits to Fugazi's page and their releases, please do not do so again without a good reason. TheLetterM (talk) 08:48, 16 October 2009 (UTC)

Genres[edit]

Hi there. COuld you please explain why you are mass-adding genres to so many bands without any discussion of the genres on the article talk pages? I've reverted the addition on Anberlin, where a note in the genre box clearly requests that discussion take place before any changes are made to the genres listed. I suspect that a lot of your changes are going to be reverted as being against consensus and highly suggest that you discuss before making such changes again. Tony Fox (arf!) 06:19, 14 November 2009 (UTC)

Oh, and you should probably not unilaterally threaten people with being banned for changing the genres. That would require community consensus and administrators to handle, and you aren't an admin. Tony Fox (arf!) 06:31, 14 November 2009 (UTC)
Not really to happy with your massive change on the Underoath genres last month either. Underoath are not "emo" and most definitely not "screamo". The sources you added on the Underoath article during that time (which I might add were mostly unreliable and thus was reverted, you didn't even bother discussing it on the talk page, even though it was discussed a million times before) does not give you the right to change the genres for all their albums and singles. -- GunMetal Angel 17:31, 16 November 2009 (UTC)
Also added false genres to Never Shout Never albums. Stop spamming and vandalizing or you will be banned from Wikipedia. --Russ is the sex (talk) 19:53, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
The majority of your edits to genres have been undone by multiple editors. I highly advise that you discuss your edits prior to making them from here on in; if you don't, you may be blocked from editing. Tony Fox (arf!) 21:16, 17 November 2009 (UTC)

Yeah how about you quit this. You know we even have a name for people like you, a Genre Warrior. That's just how pointless and pathetic your bent motives are. Go play with MySpace or something, you're wasting peoples time here. kiac. (talk-contrib) 15:06, 27 November 2009 (UTC)

Would you please stop changing the genres of Underoath and their albums and singles? They are not emo, nor screamo, please stop this or you will be banned. Mcrfobrockr (talk) 04:52, 17 December 2009 (UTC)
That's it! You've done it for the last time. I'm getting Tony. You're done!GunMetal Angel 05:25, 17 December 2009 (UTC)

Blocked[edit]

I have blocked you for one month due to your disruptive editing as noted above. You may appeal the block if you wish. Normally a first block would be shorter, but your editing pattern is such that a day or two would not have an effect on your editing. When the block is over, if you return to disruptively changing these genres without discussion and consensus-building, I will block this account indefinitely. Tony Fox (arf!) 06:14, 17 December 2009 (UTC)

Final warning[edit]

Stop hand nuvola.svg This is your last warning that you will receive, if you make undiscussed genre changes to articles one more time such as what you did to the articles for 30 Seconds to Mars and The Used, you will be blocked from editing permanently. GunMetal Angel 04:59, 22 January 2010 (UTC)
