Hi, Caponofrio, Welcome to Wikipedia!

I hope you like this place — I sure do — and want to stay.

You may want to read about the Five pillars of Wikipedia and simplified ruleset.

If you need help on how to title new articles check out the naming conventions.

For help on formatting the pages visit the manual of style.

If you need help look at Wikipedia:Help and the FAQ.

If you can't find your answer there, check the Village Pump (for Wikipedia related questions) or the Reference Desk (for general questions)!

There's still more help at the Tutorial and Policy Library.

Plus, don't forget to visit the Community Portal.

Feel free to post questions on my user talk page or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will be by to help you shortly.

If you want to play around with your new Wiki skills the Sandbox is for you. You can sign your name using three tildes (~). If you use four, you can add a datestamp too. Five will get you the datestamp only.

You may want to add yourself to the new user log.

If you ever think a page or image should be deleted, please list it at the votes for deletion page. There is also a votes for undeletion page if you want to retrieve something that you think should not have been deleted.

On IRC, check out the Bootcamp. It's not what it sounds like, but it is fun and can help you with your editing skills.

If you're bored and want to find something to do, try the Random page button in the sidebar, or check out the Open Task message in the Community Portal.

Thank you for uploading Image:CdTwos.gif. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 01:20, 4 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

General image warning

[edit]

Please be very careful when uploading images and other media to only upload them if they are available under a free licence. Please see the image use policy. If you upload further media without properly specifying the license and source, you may be blocked from further editing. Stifle (talk) 13:40, 4 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:CdTwos.gif

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:CdTwos.gif. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Hersfold (t/a/c) 16:57, 4 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion

[edit]

If you'd like them to be deleted, you can add the code {{db-author}} (which marks the image for speedy deletion) to the image description page. Myself or another administrator will see the tag and remove the images for you. Hersfold (t/a/c) 17:22, 4 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Dylan McDonald

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Dylan McDonald requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the article or have a copy emailed to you. ~ mazca t|c 19:26, 11 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Lori Haigh

[edit]

I have nominated Lori Haigh, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Lori Haigh. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.
