Hello, Carolinerose, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Adam and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Your edits

[edit]

Hi, I have had to adjust your first edit for a number of reasons. You have chosen to improve an article on a specific building, and I don't think the proposed sources you give on your user page are at all specific enough for the subject. You've also added a lot of stuff, but no references at all. You don't seem to have considered how to make any new material fit in with what is already there, which is (as far as it goes) high quality (better than your additions) but of course unreferenced. What the article really needs is a good account of the distinctive architecture, not generalized waffle on the role of the synagogue. To be kept, any change to an article must be an improvement. Hope this helps. Johnbod (talk) 13:56, 8 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please don't add references to headers. But do add them to the text, with page numbers. Johnbod (talk) 03:23, 13 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
