October 2023[edit]

Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made an edit to a biography of a living person, Celest Chong, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 05:40, 2 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Please note that I am the living person and I have sent you link to my IMDb as well as most recent news articles about my age. Please stop allowing people to change this, it’s getting very annoying & I appreciate your help. Please let me know if you need more info. 122.11.212.244 (talk) 05:55, 2 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, CelestCi. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Celest Chong, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. ~ JASWE (talk) 09:24, 22 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, please do read up on the COI guidelines by Wikipedia and stop editing your own article as implied in the above section. Failure to comply with the guidelines will likely result in your account being blocked for further editing. I strongly suggest to take a step back, read the guidelines and stop promoting yourself. Even if you have stopped using your former stage name, it is still recorded inside Wikipedia as part of your biography. Thanks. ~ JASWE (talk) 02:48, 23 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
