Hi, and welcome to Wikipedia. I've seen your proposed changes to Mayfly, and agree there is room in the Ecology section of that article for a suitably cited mention of their role in bioturbation. I do not agree, however, that this ecological aspect merits both a new section and a reorganisation of all the human-facing aspects of the topic, so I have undone your edit. If you would like to find a reliable source and add a reference to it in the same style as the existing references in the article, then feel free to add back the sentence or perhaps a brief paragraph on the subject, under Ecology. All the best, Chiswick Chap (talk) 08:22, 22 February 2016 (UTC)
- Hi Chiswick Chap, I agree with your comments to this student, and I have made these changes that you suggest, and moved some of the other material to the sections on "In human culture" where appropriate. Thanks! --Cprather3 (talk) 02:29, 24 February 2016 (UTC)
