Mets

[edit]

I expanded David Wright like you asked. I see you're a mets fan and would like to know if you would be interested in joining the mets WikiProject?

Changing 16 to 2016

[edit]

I noticed you changed 16 to 2016 in Anton Yelchin, which I agree is a much better fit, but unfortunately the current Manual of Style rule advises to use 16 instead. There is currently an ongoing discussion and !vote to change 2-digit years back to 4-digit years in end-ranges, and I invite you to join the discussion here: Wikipedia:Village_pump_(policy)#WP:DATERANGE_ambiguity_and_stylistic_concerns. Thanks, and cheers. — Crumpled Firecontribs 16:28, 23 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Matt Reynolds (infielder), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Hits. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

August 2016

[edit]

—DoRD (talk) 18:54, 7 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@DoRD: What just happened? Why was I just blocked? Is there something I did wrong. Please let me know. I am really confused. Charlie Jeff (talk) 23:31, 7 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
(edit conflict) Harassment and vandalism via sockpuppetry. See WP:UTRS to appeal. —DoRD (talk) 02:41, 8 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@DoRD: I really don't mean to be rude but I think you got this wrong. This is my only account. I have never socked before. What account do you think I am a sock of? Charlie Jeff (talk) 02:47, 8 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Unblock

[edit]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Charlie Jeff (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

I have no idea what happened. The block said that checkuser evidence has determined that my account was or will be used to vandalize. How did they determine that? If you look at the history of my edits you will not find one edit that I vandalized. I have no idea how I am blocked. I asked DoRD why I was blocked, but I got no response. Especially with what is happening with Alex Rodriguez I really want to edit. If you don't want to unblock me can you please tell me what I did wrong. I really don't understand. Mostly I just updated stats for Mets players and now I do some recent changes patrolling. If there is anything I did wrong to get me blocked please let me know. I hope you consider my unblock request. Thank you, Charlie Jeff (talk) 02:32, 8 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You were explicitly told to appeal via WP:UTRS (for good reason -- to discuss the confidential system log evidence), so I have revoked your ability to make further on-wiki appeals. MER-C 02:58, 8 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

This blocked user is asking that their block be reviewed on the Unblock Ticket Request System:

ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open!

[edit]

Hello, Charlie Jeff. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
