Speedy deletion nomination of David B. Banner

A tag has been placed on David B. Banner, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. Why not

Please look at WP:BIO, and at WP:RS about reliable independent sources (needed to prove notability). Being involved in the filming of something is not necessarily a cause of notability. That depends on the note that is taken of the subject in RS. One may be in a film as 'Third Hoodie', which is not quite the same for notability as being the main villain or hero. I can see no other real claim to fame - being in the Met obviously took precedence over modelling. Both are hard jobs in their different ways, but one tends to lead to more notability if followed to success. (Most models are not regarded as notable, along with most policemen, soldiers, teachers and vicars - and most other professions too.) Good luck to David with the acting. Hope to see him back on here when success arrives. That's the best we can do, though. We can't help people up the ladder. Peridon (talk) 16:38, 16 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
