Making a list in diplomatic relations pages

[edit]

Hello. The reason why I undid your revision of Foreign relations of Madagascar is because the list is deemed as incomplete and redundant. When making such list, you need to do these steps. First, cite every country with references unless there is a main reference. Second, it's not "that (insert country) maintains". Use "which" because it is gramatically better. Third, use "East Timor" and "Ivory Coast" instead of "Timor-Leste" and "Cote d'Ivoire" respectively as this is an English page. Fourth, non-UN entities use a stripe like "—", not "-". Lastly, instead of directly adding the unfinished list into the main article, use your own sandbox so that when it's finished, it won't be redundant. Thank you. Hello, the reason why I added them onto the list it is because they appeared onto a Twitter account but it doesn’t seem to be likely on the list. For example in Twitter I found Diplomatic relations with Myanmar and Democratic Republic of Congo, Albania and Bahamas, Seychelles and Suriname. Thank you ClareWhiteBoat (talk) 22:03, 30 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
But the link you used is all fake and baloney. You better listen to him. Underdwarf58 (talk) 23:26, 30 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Cuba-Ireland Relations moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Cuba-Ireland Relations. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has no sources. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Waqar💬 13:51, 24 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Learn how to cite

[edit]

Hello ClareWhiteBoat,

I hope this message finds you well. I've noticed that you've been using basic URLs as references in your edits, and I wanted to suggest an alternative citation format that's commonly used on Wikipedia because your method of citation is still basic and lame in my opinion.

In particular, I think it would be helpful if you could use the "Cite web" template for web sources. This format provides more context and information about the source, making it easier for readers to verify the information.

Here's an example of what the correct citation format would look like: Cite web |date=3 July 2024 |title=What’s the Deal With ‘Hawk Tuah’ Girl? |url=https://www.thecut.com/article/hawk-tuah-girl-viral-tiktok-video-explained.html |website=The Cut |access-date=5 July 2024

However, you still need to use the <ref> and <(slash)ref> with the {{}} in between the citation template.

Using this format helps ensure that our citations are accurate, consistent, and easy to maintain. If you have any questions or concerns about how to use this template, please don't hesitate to ask. Thank you for your time, and I appreciate your efforts in contributing to Wikipedia! Best regards, Underdwarf58 Underdwarf58 (talk) 02:56, 6 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history at List of diplomatic missions in Malaysia shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Don’t ever even think about trying to make anything happen again because I don’t want to be in a situation where I don’t want to be involved in it anymore and I don’t want to be with you anymore and I don’t know what to do with it I don’t want to be around you anymore and I don’t know how to do that. It was the relations fault that he deleted the relations list so that way sorry my bad it was the last link mentioning Ethiopia had closed embassy in Malaysia. thank you to talk to me.
