Speedy deletion nomination of Sue Harrison (athlete)[edit]

Hello Cls14,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Sue Harrison (athlete) for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. ubiquity (talk) 14:13, 19 June 2015 (UTC)

September 2015[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Redrose64. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Coventry Arena railway station, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. --Redrose64 (talk) 10:16, 10 September 2015 (UTC)

  • Hi there, I've put my rationale on the talk page. It does say (to me anyway) that the station isn't useful for the stadium. I've quoted the part of the article there. Cls14 (talk) 10:18, 10 September 2015 (UTC)

2015–16 Welsh Cup[edit]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a search with the contents of 2015–16 Welsh Cup, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: 2014–15 Welsh Cup. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. CorenSearchBot (talk) 10:59, 10 November 2015 (UTC)

ArbCom elections are now open![edit]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Your edit of header in Lycée Français Charles de Gaulle[edit]

Hello Cls14, I have partially restored the header you amended. Why? because it's a literary joke. It is also a reference to yet another 'French invasion'. You may not have read '1066 and All That' yet, but it was very popular at the Lycée, as an alternative to school history, so you may enjoy it too. I had rather you left it in, if you don't mind. OK, it's an Oldie 'in' joke. Best wishes, --Po Kadzieli (talk) 01:20, 24 March 2016 (UTC)

I've heard of 1066 and all that. Appreciate that it's an in joke (and not a bad one!) but Wikipedia isn't the place for such obvious in jokes, sorry Cls14 (talk) 08:28, 24 March 2016 (UTC)

Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge[edit]

Hi, at Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge we're striving to bring about 10,000 article improvements and creations for the UK and Ireland and inspire others to create more content. In order to achieve this we need diversity of content, in all parts of the UK and Ireland on all topics. Eventually a regional contest will be held for all parts of the British Isles, like they were for Wales and the Wedt Country. We currently have just over 1900 articles and need contributors! If you think you'd be interested in collaborating on this and helping reach the target quicker, please sign up and begin listing your entries there as soon as possible! Thanks.♦ --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 13:40, 28 September 2016 (UTC)

Europe 10,000 Challenge invite[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 02:50, 6 November 2016 (UTC)

famousbirthdays.com is not a reliable source[edit]

Hi Cls14 . I'm in the process of removing famousbirthdays.com as a source from Wikipedia, because it's not reliable (See Wikipedia:Reliable_sources/Noticeboard/Archive_153#Is_famousbirthdays.com_a_reliable_source_for_personal_information). I noticed that you've added it, and wanted to make sure you understood why it's being removed. If you disagree, let's discuss it. Thanks. --Ronz (talk) 18:28, 13 January 2017 (UTC)
