While there is some very obvious effort in this draft, reviewing the listed sources shows no significant coverage of Kerley. I even searched for additional reliable sources to see if we could build something on him but I couldn't find anything. I know this is likely disappointing, but I want to state very clearly that the work here demonstrates you are already well on your way to being a strong editor.

Thanks for the positive elements in the feedback -- I was in the middle of adding references and links and there are a few more now which might strengthen the case for notability. If not, do you think a shorter piece might be more in keeping with Kerley's status? I may have rushed to put in everything I know which would simply not be of interest to a non-opera specialist. Absolutely. Please ping me (see Template:Ping if you don't know how to do that) when you feel ready for me to look at it again. I'm not sure if the size is so much the issue here as just the lack of sources, hence my initial full rejection.
