Hello, Corsair Armada. An automated process has found and removed an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, and thus is being used under fair use that was in your userspace. The image (Image:Crystal-dreams-promotionla-poster.jpg) was found at the following location: User:Corsair Armada. This image or media was attempted to be removed per criterion number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media was replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. Please find a free image or media to replace it with, and or remove the image from your userspace. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk 23:13, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Corsair Armada, an automated process has found an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, such as fair use. The image (Image:Robotech3000.jpg) was found at the following location: User:Corsair Armada. This image or media will be removed per statement number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media will be replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. The image that was replaced will not be automatically deleted, but it could be deleted at a later date. Articles using the same image should not be affected by my edits. I ask you to please not readd the image to your userpage and could consider finding a replacement image licensed under either the Creative Commons or GFDL license or released to the public domain. Thanks for your attention and cooperation. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk 07:31, 17 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:RobotechTheMovie.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:RobotechTheMovie.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Freedomeagle 07:30, 3 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If I may chime in, I am the writer of said comic book and as an interested party. I certainly give my permission to use this image in this context as it is a low-res image and conforms to the fair use practices. The book is out of print, and artwork is not being used for commercial gain. Wizbenny 03:55, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Walsworth Publishing Company, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Bielle (talk) 07:40, 17 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry if the first draft looked like a spam post. I was starting a stub for a red link and wasn't done yet! Let me know if it looks acceptable now. --Corsair Armada (talk) 08:18, 17 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

::First, as the author, you are requested not to remove the Speedy Tag until an admin has reviewed it. The admin will see anything new you have done, and it will be part of the assessment. If you wish to contest the tagging, please use the "hangon" method as described in the preceeding paragraph. My view that it is still just advertising for a company with no notability. The admin who comes may not agree. Please let the process run its course. You may continue to add or change anything except the tags until the admin review is over. If you have any questions please come to my talk page. Thanks Bielle (talk) 02:51, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I don't understand why you're warning me about the removal of the Speedy Tag -- please check the article's edit history. The first time you yourself removed it. The second time it was removed by an admin. I only posted a {{hangon}} tag per guidelines. --Corsair Armada (talk) 01:01, 29 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Upon taking a look at the article's history page, all I can say is "How peculiar!", oh, and I can apologize, too. As it all happened 10 days ago, I can't remember what I must have been thinking, or how It came about that I was both careless and, consequently, rude. I am so sorry. I suspect there is an editor out there who should have received the admonitory note I left for you. Thank you for bringing this mistake of mine to my attention, and so civilly, too. Speedy deletion of Big Blue Bubble

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Big Blue Bubble requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:HarmonyGoldLogo.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:HarmonyGoldLogo.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 23:04, 13 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Robotech: Love Live Alive, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page A&E (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 11:01, 15 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
