Hello, I'm Donner60. I noticed that you made a change to an article, WrestleMania X-Seven, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Donner60 (talk) 04:01, 13 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I left this message in response to your question/comment on my talk page. Without a citation of reliable, verifiable, third party sources, it is personal opinion and original research. The reader must be given a way to verify the statement. Otherwise, it could simply be the statement of an anonymous fan who wishes to hype it for some reason. (It happens - frequently.) See Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners; Wikipedia:Verifiability, Help:Getting started; Wikipedia:Introduction; Wikipedia:Simplified ruleset; Wikipedia:Simplified Manual of Style; Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources; Wikipedia:Citing sources and Help:Footnotes. I hope you can add one, or better yet at least two, sources to support your edit. Thank you for your polite and reasonable message. Since you were no doubt unfamiliar with the pages I cited, I am striking the above message but the need for a citation remains. Donner60 (talk) 04:49, 13 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I have the resources etc to back it up but I don't know how to pop it in the edits page. I'm trying to contribute but don't know where to put the info Craig 66830 (talk) 04:51, 13 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please read the Wikipedia guideline and policy pages I cited in the previous paragraph, the first two alone should be enough to put you on the right track. Donner60 (talk) 04:55, 13 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to WrestleMania X-Seven. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Donner60 (talk) 04:52, 13 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Adding a citation

[edit]

Hi. I've been trying to add a comment backed up by a citation.... Every time I try it is removed. Please help by letting me know how to actually do it Craig 66830 (talk) 05:13, 13 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
