Instead of just putting a link to a page, you can actually make it a Redirect. In this case, you had:

This page links to Christian Bale.
which shows as: This page links to Christian Bale.
That requires people to click on the link to get to the right page.

Instead, you can just create a redirect:

#REDIRECT Christian Bale
With that setup, if someone tries to go to the Cristian Bale page, they're redirected to Christian Bale instantly.

Hope this helps. Fan-1967 15:13, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Another way to make less work for yourself: I see you created a couple of redirects you didn't need to, when there was an easier way. In the Skilling article, you added a sentence with a mention of U.S. District Judge Sim Lake. When that one was a red link, you created a redirect to get to the Sim Lake article. Easier, is just to use an alias in the text. You do that by entering the article you want to link, followed by a vertical bar, and then how you want it to display. So, in this article, you could have just entered it as:

U.S. District Judge Sim Lake

This displays as U.S. District Judge Sim Lake but links directly to the Sim Lake page without needing a redirect to get there.

Hello Crallise. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Yeal Stone".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the db-afc or db-g13 code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: , paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save page", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 15:39, 25 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
